Sun dried black tea from the ancient gardens of Northern Thailand. This garden is one of the best managed and pristine clean I ever found in Northern Thailand. Farmers are extremely responsible never use chemicals or heavy pruning on their trees.
Their ancestors came to Northern Thailand from Yunann. They have a strong connection to a tea culture.

Trees in the garden are of various ages, average around 300 years and oldest one up to 900 years.
Although this family is mostly focused on making a Pu-Erh, every spring they also make a batch of traditional sun-dried red tea.
The character of the tea reminds Dian Hong but the climate of Northern Thailand has its own specific flavor.
Tea is sweet and slightly bitter.
Sun-dried tea is changing significantly overtime. It’s gonna get smoother and rounder. There is enough power in those leaves to age very well.
*I recommend to use slightly cooler water for first couple rounds.
